The Hire-a-Refugee Job Fair a Huge Success

The first Hire-a-Refugee Job Fair, held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, was a huge success! Over fifteen different organizations joined us in our mutual mission to see documented refugees get meaningful and permanent work.

Over 250 refugees were able to have face-to-face interviews. These refugees were from the following countries:

• Afghanistan
• Bangladesh
• India
• Kyrgyzstan
• Pakistan
• Togo
• Ukraine
• Jordan
• And more

And many of the refugees turned into on-the-spot hiring decisions! Others have interviews set up in the next few days.
